Made You Look: Trick of Hida Chidori Goushi Kumiko

A few days ago, there was a post by @peter.farnell on the Fine Woodworking forum about Chidori Goshi, a type of kumiko that was entirely new to me. I looked at the photo posted, and my mind tried to make sense of what seemed impossible to build. In that post, @ral3wood linked to this video.
