Sony announces more PS5 price hikes
A standard PlayStation 5 now costs $150 more than it did at launch
Sony is raising the retail price of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation Portal worldwide, the company announced Friday. Starting April 1, the price of all PS5 consoles will go up by $100 to $150, depending on the model. The cost of the standard PlayStation 5 is now $649.99.
That system originally launched at $499.99 back in November 2020.

U.K.

- PS5 Pro – ¥137,980
Sony attributes the latest price increase on the PS5 to “continued pressures in the global economic landscape.”
